Insurance

  • Aetna

  • United Healthcare

  • Medi-Cal of San Diego

We are in-network with Aetna, United Healthcare, and Medi-Cal of San Diego County and do not participate with Medi-Cal plans from other counties (such as Riverside, Los Angeles, or Orange County). We are not in-network with any other insurance providers. However, if you have a PPO plan, we are considered an out-of-network provider. We’re happy to provide a Superbill at the end of each month, which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for out-of-network services, but coverage and deductible amounts vary. Please contact your insurance provider directly to learn more about your benefits.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)

We are EAP provider for several companies, including Apple, Google, Meta/Facebook, Starbucks, Netflix, and many local Biotech companies. I am specifically contracted with Lyra Health EAP and Modern Health. If you're unsure whether your employer offers EAP benefits, we recommend checking with your Human Resources department to see if your company participates in the program.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us enough time to offer the spot to another client who may need it. You’re welcome to call, text, or email to make any changes. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged a $100 fee. To help you stay on track, the client portal sends convenient appointment reminders by email and/or text.

Good Faith Estimate

A Good Faith Estimate is just a breakdown of what you can expect to pay for therapy. It’s part of a law (No Surprises Act) that helps make sure there are no surprise costs. If you don’t have insurance or aren’t using it, we’ll provide you with a written estimate of the total expected cost of therapy. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or the dispute process, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
